Dan oversees design solutions for SCK. He is responsible for planning, developing concepts, conceptual problem-solving, coordinating and supervising projects in print, web and other media. Dan has over a decade of creative experience in graphic design, website design, art direction, brand management and overall project management. His work has been widely recognized, garnering awards from AIGA and Graphic Design USA. He has also won the SMPS National Marketing Communications Award. Dan holds a degree in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University.
What is your favorite website and why?
I don't have a favorite. I find new ones every day that catch my eye for various reasons. But the very best ones are the ones I've designed ;-)
What book is currently on your night stand?
I don't have a night stand and I don't like to read books. But I am almost always online reading blogs, articles, and tutorials in efforts to keep up with the always changing technologies.
What would you rather be doing?
Having a light saber fight with my kids, followed by some hot pretzels and lemonade. Then porch sittin' all evening with friends and family.
What is on your to do list?
Stop making lists and get to work.
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go?
Anywhere, as long as it looks like a Corona commercial.
What was your weirdest job?For a brief period of time I cleaned up garbage around the city. For some weird reason they kept on referring to it as Community Service. Fortunately, it didn't last that long ;-)
