To expand their service lines to Fortune 1000 companies, David Consulting Group (DCG) hired SCK to build a website that allows clients to download valuable content, all in a secure environment. To promote and build credibility and to enhance the company’s thought leadership in the industry, the site includes such items as whitepapers, podcasts and blogs.
The Challenge
- Determine how to best sell and distribute knowledge-based documents.
- Provide the ability for DCG administrators to maintain and add products, podcasts and content themselves. The administrator also needs to control various levels of permissible access through a login feature for the intranet site.
- Promote the expertise of DCG consultants and generate more leads.

This international consulting firm has been in business for more than 15 years. Its business is enhancing client processes so as to improve the design and delivery of enterprise software.
The goal of this site is to better market the skills of DCG consultants, as well as sell significant volumes of knowledge-based documents. Corporations purchase access to these documents at various permission levels, so a custom application was developed to be managed by the internal administrator. SCK's software provided administrators the ability to add users in real time and to manage the permission login levels.
To promote the skills of the individual consultants and build a community that will rely on DCG’s knowledge base, SCK included a section for resources that included whitepapers and blogs, as well as the ability to upload podcasts, webinars and presentations.
